Refund & Cancellation Policy
No refunds or cancellations. Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. I wish I could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, family emergency, etc), but I have costs that are already incurred when reserving retreat centers and excursions. In order to protect yourself, I strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.
If I cancel a retreat: I will refund to you all deposits and payments you have paid, excluding any credit card or transaction fees. I cannot however compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred by you.

However… In the event that I cancel a retreat due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be refunded all land costs paid to Lisa Gniady, LLC. In the unlikely event a retreat must be canceled due to weather, natural disaster, political upheaval, or pandemic I cannot guarantee a refund – it will be dependent upon receiving a refund from the host that I work with. To cover these risks, I strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
Travel Insurance-Protect your investment!
Travel Insurance can protect you in the event that you cancel your participation in the retreat, the retreat is cancelled for any reason, lost baggage, medical expenses, etc. I recommend Travel Guard, which offers a variety of travel insurances, including the option for a comprehensive “cancel for any reason” policy. Please note, you must contact Travel Guard and purchase the policy within 15 days of buying your airline tickets or incurring any costs for any part of your travel. These rules can change at any time, please check with the provider.
